New Dawn is committed to protecting the health and welfare of its staff, clients, tenants, and volunteers. We are especially concerned with the safety of the most vulnerable members of our community, including our Meals on Wheels, guest home, and homecare clients. Our priority is to continue to deliver our essential services while helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As such we are taking the following precautionary measures. New Dawn Meals on Wheels

We are currently not accepting kitchen volunteers and all food is being made by trained staff.

We have implemented a no-contact delivery system to protect our clients and our volunteers and delivery drivers have been educated on proper hygiene practices and provided protective equipment.

We will be updating policies and procedures based on provincial and municipal recommendations.

CANCELLATIONS:

All events including Wheels to Meals and our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner are postponed.
